Dear friends and partners,

What an adventure Precious Plastic Den Haag turned out to be! Over a period of 2,5 year, we went to big exhibitions such as ‘Change the System’ of Boijmans van Beuningen Museum and supplied many workshops for schools and individuals in several startup programs. We enjoyed all of it!

With these wonderful memories in mind, we retire from this project to pass it on to someone else. Main reasons for this decision are money and passion. First of all, let’s acknowledge the elephant in the room: money. We tried to find investors via startup competitions and programs. We’ve put a great deal of energy in all of this and that is how we lost sight of what we wanted to do most: creating and innovating. We focused on creating commercial products – never on products we really wanted to make.

So, what’s next? We are looking for people who are interested in taking over (parts of) our workplace, which consists of Precious Plastic machines, a lot of product- and market research (400hours!), a big social media platform and a network of (potential) partners. Interested? Let’s meet up for a beer and make a deal. E-mail us at: info@preciousplastic.nl

We’re going to end these good times with 4 workshops for everybody who is interested:
x Wednesday 22th of May from 19.30 till 21.00
x Wednesday 29th of May from 19.30 till 21.00
x Thursday 6th of June from 19.30 till 21.00
x Sunday 16th of June from 12.00 till 17.00 during Bier & Braadfestival

Enjoy your evening,
Team Precious Plastic Den Haag

  1. Dear Precious Plastic,

I regret all businesscases were not strong enough to keep you going, including some space for ‘free projects’. But I think it’s a wise choice to walk on and be happy and proud about what you have done.
I will come to your workshop Thursday 6th June.

    Warm regards
